Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture on investigating and punishing Jiangxi Sea United fake veterinary drugs

Animal husbandry and veterinary (agriculture, animal husbandry, agriculture) offices (bureaus, commissions, offices) of the relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities:

Recently, the public security organs successfully detected the case of Jiangxi Hailian Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. suspected of producing and selling fake veterinary drugs. It was found that Jiangxi Hailian Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. changed the quality standards of veterinary drugs without authorization, and produced and sold products that illegally added other drug ingredients. The fake veterinary drugs produced by the company were also sold in Zhejiang, Anhui, Beijing, Hubei, Hunan, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Hebei, Henan, Liaoning, Shandong, Hainan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Guizhou, Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces, in addition to Jiangxi Province. We hereby send you the list of 28 varieties of counterfeit drugs such as "severe disease Elimination" produced by Jiangxi Hailian Animal Pharmaceutical Co., LTD., and inform you of the relevant investigation requirements as follows.

1. The competent animal husbandry and veterinary departments of the relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) are requested to immediately organize the units operating and using veterinary drugs within their jurisdiction to conduct a careful inventory of the products listed in this notice, and once found, investigate and supervise the destruction of the products according to law.

(2) If it is found that the fake veterinary drugs listed in this notice are continued to be used, the local animal husbandry and veterinary authorities shall seriously investigate and deal with them, and strictly deal with them according to law.

Third, the local animal husbandry and veterinary authorities should take practical and effective measures to further strengthen the supervision of the production of veterinary drugs, increase the investigation of the production and sale of fake and inferior veterinary drugs enterprises and underground "black dens", especially to increase the investigation and punishment of illegal acts such as unauthorized changes in prescriptions and illegal addition of banned veterinary drugs, and control the quality and safety of veterinary drugs from the source. It is necessary to further strengthen the law enforcement inspection of veterinary drug trading links, standardize the business activities of veterinary drug trading enterprises, strictly implement the provisions of veterinary drug GSP, and severely crack down on illegal activities such as the production and sale of counterfeit and inferior veterinary drugs. It is necessary to strengthen cooperation with the public security organs, and for major cases with obvious clues and clear facts, it is necessary to promptly consult the public security organs to intervene in advance to ensure the effective investigation and punishment of the case.

The relevant provincial (autonomous region, city) animal husbandry and veterinary authorities shall promptly report the investigation and investigation work and results to the veterinary bureau of our Ministry.
